MGS has always been slop. V at least was fun to play. I heard 4 is fun as well but its 70% cutscenes so fuck that noise

surely people wanted a game where you paly as Big Medic, instead of Anti-hero/war criminal Big Boss instead. And top of that there was so much cut content it's embarrassing
