Clair Obscur Expedition 33
I'm literally going to lose my mind.
I unlocked a skill for Lune. It's an earthquake attack.
Now guess what?

EVERY TIME I USE THIS ATTACK THE ENEMIES DON'T CARE, THEY ARE NOT VULNERABLE.

They are sensitive to ice, fire, lightning but not this.
What's the point of putting this shitty skill in there? Did people use earthquake attacks here?

I just want to know if there are any enemies sensitive to earthquake attacks. I've never seen one before.

There are obviously enemies that are weak to earth retard. And if you're talking about Terraquake, its great for setting up breaks on bosses.

regrettably if you care about the effectiveness of abilities you should only be stacking burns or using lightning dance

Shocking.

Earth weak enemies:
>Ceramic Chevaliere
>Chromatic Ceramic Chevaliere
>Chromatic Bruler
>Jar
>Chromatic Jar
>Orphelin
>Chromatic Orphelin
>Thunder Eveque

And if it hits neutral it can set up breaks anyway.

Seems like only the break ones were ever useful. Fire mogs everything else in the game.

Get the weapon that gives light stains on an attack, and get the combo attack pictos. Turn one - versatile free shot then attacks to generate light stains. Turn 2 - versatile free shot and then lightning dance for single targets, elemental genesis for multiples. Ezpz damage on par with verso but of course Maelle outperforms. I didn't mess with sciel much. Monoco struggles.

Monoco and Ciel are at their best in the period of time where you have to worry about the damage cap making pure damage less effective. They can both shit out every buff in the game with no effort and keep everyone's AP maxed out. Sciel's still good after getting Painted Power because of her double-damage skill and how easy it still is for her to give all the party support you need. But aside from him being the only party member who can easily raise shields, I found that Monoco fell off in Act 3.

If you are in act 2, just use the weapon that gives you a fire stain, then use thermal transfer (after Maelle applies burn) to get an ice stain and AP, congratulations, you have set a 6+ multihit lighting dance that one shots everything

>I found that Monoco fell off in Act 3.
Monoco was the party member that I left to finish Sklon after he gommages the party at the start of phase 3.

Sciel doubles his damage and applies double mark, then Monoco does Dualliste Storm and finishes Simon in one hit.

good to see that everyone really can work as well as everyone else (except Maelle who clears with gommage/stendahl)

monoco does her job better while being massive support without skipping a beat. lune is just too selfish a party member. she's just simpler setups in a game of simple setups.

Sciel is literally the best character in act 3 you mongoloids. You can argue maybe Maelle is stronger but sciel is literally a floor raiser. You can put any team combo with her with any build that's optimized to any extent and make it work. And as opposed to Maelle, her strength is incredibly versatile and resilient to shit going wrong or player fuck ups.
Anonymous No.719808829
>>719808095
sciel + monoco is great. delaying slash + monoco's guaranteed breaks means you stall really fucking hard. you need high speed to capitalize on it due to how turn orders work. I also have maelle on party cover duty just in case the enemy actually gets a turn but its not even necessary.

If you don't have any reserves left before Simon dicks the part with his phase 3, is it just game over?

KWAB. Anyway, Luna sucks. Use Monoco instead. I can't remember using Luna's earth skills much, but Monoco has one earth skill that hits everyone, does high damage, and can break.

She requires a bit of setup, and truthfully I had no idea how her moon/twilight system worked well in to act 3. It is funny shes like the best character for the 100x health fights since she one shots them after 20 turns

yeah, going for the big foretell doesnt really seem worth it, i just go for the minimum foretell to keep her rotations going. chation + card weaver lets you setup instantly on a free turn even. hard to use anything else all the way to act 3 where you get cheater/faster than strong, devaluing the cardweaver free turn, allowing you to swap from chation's 1 useful passive to some weapon that has 3.

Nobody falls out in act 3, is just that Maelle is retardedly strong so it makes everyone useless aside from buffing her
