i think removing the pogo in exchange for a divekick momentum thing is an interesting choice. it's much less finely controlled than the pogo momentum and it indicates to me that team cherry was somewhat uncomfortable with how free flowing the knight's movement was. they wanted to change that for the sequel and i kind of like the change so far.

So the only complaints I'm hearing is it's more of the same, Hornet is harder to control and feels weaker

So in other words it feels like a DLC expansion with a different player character that blew up out of proportion to the point a new game was justified.

That's not a complaint, really. It makes the game harder which is exactly what i wanted and mechanically she's super fun once you get the dash.
