It's almost like the audiences for real games never disappeared and it was a big fucking conspiracy to suppress them because suits needed easily reproducible slop like corridor shooters and open world games to become popular because they didn't require an "it" factor to the development team that money cannot purchase.

Nah, the first game was pretty big in China, and the Chinese play pretty much exclusively on PC, so chances are it's the 2nd largest, if not the largest, platform for this game.
