People are excited for it so the contratian take is to mald over it

For me it bothers me becuase after haring for years how awesome Hollow Knight was, i tried it, and it was the most boring garbage ever, i look around, turns out nobody actually played it ofinished it, less than 10% of players have the ending achievements in Steam, everyone has the 1st area ones but nobody played beyond the first 2 hours.

So it bothers me a lot that people praise a game a lot when they won't even play it and just buy it to feel like they "belong" or becuase their favorite youtuber told them to.
