I always found the green filter headache inducing so I was stoked to finally be able to play it without feeling nauseous. They even included the option to turn it back on in the remaster so all complaints about it are a non-issue.

I love the pressure-sensitive controls in MGS2 and 3 to death, and the original does have nicer art direction.
Delta is still good, and it looks a lot better with one of the filters on. Not $70 good, though. Maybe $40 good.

Fundamentally different perspectives.
MGS3 is a top down birds eye game so being able to shoot in a 360 direction means bottom was needed.
Where the remake is a TPS.
OG MGS3 basically plays like a twin stick shooter rather than a TPS and then subsistance giving it free camera made it trivial.

The demake literally looks colorless most of the time, and then has all the typical UE5 noise, ghosting and unstable lighting on top.

But that's literally secondary nonthing-burger compared to the absolutely butchered GAMEPLAY, with the effortless over-shoulder aim literally making the game into a point & click headshot simulator. The lack of recoil and RE4-style aim sway is truly idiotic.

And THEN you got the even more moronic "enemy awareness markers" that plague every single modern "stealth" game. They completely diminish the challenge, and render both your spy gadgets AND the need to observe your surroundings obsolete.

I don't think I will be getting this one. It looks like a glorified remaster and not a remake. Basically I'd be playing the original but with the look of every modern game. The original still looks great, especially on the HD release. They should have done a proper remake, like what Resident Evil 4 did. I am not saying that Resident Evil 4 remake is better than the original.
