Yeah, I've played Hollow Knight back in 2019 or something and at that point it became my favorite game.
Now I've played an hour of Silksong and after dying and restarting at a bench fucking far away I just feel like I lost the drive to keep going.
Maybe the 2019 me would enjoy this a lot, but today I just don't feel like it anymore.

how can you get fatigued by something without playing it? do you have sports game fatigue because tons come out every single year?
