Well... there are video game consumers, and there are video game enthusiasts. That game is one for consumers.
My closest friend loved that game, and he's hardly a dumbass. He has great taste in music, films and books, and he's one of my favorite people to shoot the shit with.
But he's not exactly a video game enthusiast or a discerning critic of video games. His favorite video game is Skyrim. High production values and frictionless gameplay are all that do it for him.
