Metroidvanias are so fake and gay. When I was 10 years old in 1981 I went on adventures, yeah... in town! I explored the real world, not virtual ones. My friends and I beat up random 3 year olds with sticks and rocks, we didn't use swords and gay nerdy shit like that to beat up "bosses." I didn't play Metroidvanias, I lived them.
