Since FF4-9 don't have any voice acting, I'm curious on what voices you hear in your head when you read each protagonist's dialog.
For me it's

4 and 7 have voices now, due to the DS version of FF4 and the 7 Remake series.
Also, if someone happened to have played the Dissidia games, they might think completely different voices for 4 and 7 (and new voices for the other previously unvoiced ones).

I don't know why, but that's the voice I've imagined for him for as long as I can remember.
The internal monologue probably had a big influence on it.

I didn't hear/think any "(voice)actor" voices. Cloud just sounded like Cloud. Zidane sounded line Zidane. Why would they sound like some IRL actor or something? It's vidya, not movie/cartoon.

Japan's a bit different but notable yet funny choices. Like Edge being Kabuto Kouji, Rubicante being Wakamoto, and Rydia being Worm Fucker.

For me, Dark Cecil sounded gravelly or like Batman. Paladin Cecil sounds like a whiny, nasally boy scout.

Bartz sounds like Bart Simpson because of the name. I can't unhear it unfortunately. Cloud sounds like a stereotypically gruff mercenary or low ranking soldier. I never played the other guys games or have played any games where 4 5 and 7 are voiced
