I downloaded a few flacs from some online stores and they don't sound any different. I rather would invest in better speakers instead of deluding myself that flac > mp3 320kbit

It's just lossless audio like CDs were in wav. format so i don't have to prove anything to a retard that can't comprehend an industry standard. That got thrown away when people wanted to have more music on their mp3 players. Or people may still feel hesitant about still regarding storage sizes.

No that would be people who listen to vinyls and use record players. Anyone who uses FLAC is sensible because they know how what they bought sounded like on their home stereo when they bought it from the store that sold CDs. The people that listen to lo-fi versions of music are the true contrarians. I understand the novelty of it i suppose, maybe it helps bring out some aspects of older different music genres were intended to sound if you listen to really obscure metal or hardcore punk music. But otherwise it's pointless to listen to a record that is not good quality wise.
