I do like Silksong and I'm happy too, although in fairness there will still be some tension during TGA when they announce the winner. Give it to the astroturfed game, call it an underdog story. Everything points to there being a lot of money behind E33 so who knows, maybe they buy Geoff.

E33 orchestra is going to do international concerts next year. Theres a movie in the works. Big named actors along with Jennifer English and Ben star give their a game. Game of the Year from fucking who? There are hundreds of publications that each give out awards. Virtually every game released on a given year is practically guaranteed to win an award from at least one of them.

Monster Hunter Wilds is gonna be GOTY though. It sold more than 33 and Silksong combined and became the greatest game Capcom has ever released.

There doesn't always need to be an upset or an underdog story. Isn't it okay if we just get what makes the most logical sense every once in a while instead of trying to turn life into a fucking twist ending subversion of expectations? E33 is considered to have reinvigorated its genre and captured the imaginations of a lot of people. It should win GOTY this year.
