what am I in for /v/ros?

you're in for a solid 7 out of 10 for about 20 hours. Story isn't really that great unless you're into shit like sons of anarchy but the hordes and shooting mechanics are competent enough. suffers from the far cry effect a bit with a lot of little bullshit to collect while roaming around.

if you like third person shooters with light stealth mechanics and a slight crafting system then you'll probably like it

It's lame that the biggest hordes don't even spawn until you're almost done with the game.

it has its flaws but it's probably my favorite open world from a game design perspective. traversal has real stakes and friction to it--your bike can run out of gas and force you to explore, leading to some cool emergent moments.
well worth a playthrough imo. i was surprised at its chunky 40ish hour length, all meaningful mainline content and not filler
