I'm pretty sure a couple of those are less common than complaints about the differences between the Chris and Jill scenarios getting reduced, the hunter nerfs, and the Lisa Trevor sections being a boring piece of shit tumor that kills the pacing. I'd also throw in its polishing out all of the B-camp acting.

this isn't fair to remake. it is indeed not the iconic random gaijin living in japan level performance of the original but they do keep an intentional B movie woodenness to the line reads, I think they pushed it about as far as they could without making it seem forced.

Chris is objectively harder, especially in the original. (Carrying those 4 yellow crests is brutal) REmake tried to give him few things but he's still easily the harder playthrough.

Doesn't Chris move faster, have more health and has higher crit rates for headshots? That's a pretty good trade off for Jill's 2 extra inventory slots and Barry backing her up occasionally.

I think REMake 2 is a fine addition and it stands on its own merits but they fucked REmake 3
I plan on playing RE over halloween and I am playing REMake 1-4 then 7 and 8.

I played the remake for the Xbox one and had mixed impressions of it. What version of the base original game should i play? I have a ps2 slim should I just buy a ps1 copy? I think I own and never beat the DS version. What other cersions are there? If I was in charge of that game whoever’s idea it was to have so many fucking puzzles in the remake should have been fired for being retarded I am never replaying that game again. It’s truly unreasonable.
