I cant believe I got memed into playing this. It's very meh, like a point and click with extra steps and a confusing story. Beat the 2 japanese bosses before I quit.

Killer7 gameplay is pretty mid but the story is what makes it worth it. Now, you could finish it and still think about the political and philosophical implications of the story but one thing is very clear and that one thing is very powerful on its own hence why Killer7 is still the best story told in a video game because the main mystery is solved but everything else that surrounds it is kept vague and left for interpretation.

Yeah the story is really cool and you should play it to experience it, but the gameplay sucks. It was a chore to actually play the game.

I've played it so many times nowadays on replay I usually play as Garcian or Mask as often as I can. I really like those two. Shame Garcian can't be selected from anywhere but the save rooms.

Even though I only first played through it 2 years ago, it's probably my favorite game (experience) now. It helps that I actually really enjoy the gameplay due it's proximity to RE4. But, it's really the totality of it. Reading Hand in k7 and really reflecting on it.

I did 3 back to back runs on every difficulty, I kinda want to do another one yet I don't want to risk making the game mundane for myself.
Also, Deadly is the best experience overall. Bloodbath is just the Harman show and he gets old because he has no upgrades/counter/downed attack.

I'd argue the gameplay is pretty good. It's a remix on classic, fixed-camera RE. The swan song, as it faded into obscurity.
