before the explosion of griefing videos on youtube ttt was pretty great. still had to deal with fagmins but at least every server wasn't full of screeching 12 year olds and the only map was ttt_minecraft 24/7.

Sometimes I would just spawn NPCs in maps that automatically spawned zombies, go undetectable and just watch how long they could survive before being overwhelmed.
Obviously important HL2 NPCs like Alyx or Barney are significantly hardier and with high tier weaponry are basically immortal.

I don't remember if Hellsgamers had a ZE server, I know I frequented one from 2010-2013 where everyone spoke english and was social, ZE aside, I absolutely spent days of my life on HG's minigames server

I'm europoor and afaik there are no european servers. So either I play on american servers with 5 billion ping at 4 am or have to listen to the sounds of blyat and neither option seems intresting I just want ragdoll shenanigans and getting RDM'd at the start of the round by english speaking people

the worst part of all of this is vscript and hammer++ has made mapmaking easier than ever and you can do all sorts of crazy stuff now without sourcemod but it doesn't matter because community servers are fucking dead.
