The fact that the game is 8 years old, and we still have to use gems to expand dock space for new ships(something which isn't limited in almost every other gacha), automatically and permanently disqualifies it from being the best.

I tried AL *once* because I thought Bremerton was the hottest whore in existence and I deleted it in half an hour since it was the most rancid dogshit "game" I've ever played in my life. All gachas are like this. There isn't a good one and there never, ever, EVER will be. You're a gambling addict that thinks doing daily chores in exchange for more free pulls on the slots is a substitute for fun. I pray every day that every gacha player necks themselves when their ass games go out of service and every png they spent thousands on go up in smoke.

Yeah, Azur Lane (and FGO) are only enjoyable in one of two ways:
Being an oldfag that's been there since day 1, so you don't really care about it being a mediocre game aka sunk cost fallacy, which is affecting a lot of people that play gacha lol
Surfing boorus for art, because let's be 100% honest, the only reason these games exist is to pump out fanart and porn bait of slightly relevant-to-the-game characters.
