No Man's Sky
How are you enjoying the new update? I'd love to see some cool corvette designs if you've got any to share, anons.

i still havent seen a single pretty planet like OP pic.
The best one i've had was my starter, but after a few years hiatus it seems theyve done another worldgen rework and now its a barely-vegetated fungus land instead of a cool tropical island it was. Now the name i gave it no longer makes sense.

i'm a little miffed about needing so much cash for the corvette since i just started and thought it was gonna be like half a mill, but i'm new so it's w/e. do planets you land on without putting a waypoint get erased from your route?

If you do the expedition they basically give you a really basic one for free. Or swap difficulty to creative go nuts then swap difficulty back.

Should I restart on permadeath? Normal is way too easy

it's almost the same, the start can be a bit rocky depending on the planet but once you get going it's no different

I found some rare ass world that was legit black and white, when you land on it you can't see any colours.

I made a low orbit jazz bar themed base on it.

I got a commercial on Hulu y'day about NMS and thought how weird it was to be getting a commercial for such an old game

I believe you can rename discoveries (took them only 9 years, but nonetheless).

If you want, but it's just more grind. Instead of having 200 sodium in your inventory to not run out constantly you need to have 600. Unless the one life thing is what's appealing you

is the game as buggy as people on steam say it is because of the update? Is it better to wait a bit before starting a new playthrough?
Anonymous No.719869930
I'm not playing it, because it's a waste of time.

Just scan for a planet with salvageable scrap, then dig the yellow wifi symbols, it gives you either corvette parts or old technology that you can sell and use the money to buy the parts you can't find.
