because theyre both subjective and nebulous complaints
what is "too hard" or even "hard"?
What is hard for you may not be hard for me or vice versa, and for different reasons, maybe I struggle with reaction times, and so a slower pace would be easier, but maybe you struggle with predicting paths and dodging shit but the speed is fine, or, whatever.
Its a pointless debate because even with an easy mode, it may or may not even fix what I found hard, same for you, or vice versa.
AND thats ignoring "hard isnt bad, people like hard games, people like challenge, people engage with it more, people remember it more, its more satisfying to win"
as for mechanics poorly explained... says who?
the people who cant read? the people who REFUSE to explore? test? verify? Experiment?
I remember when DSP said dark souls was poorly explained despite a button, being on screen, telling him what to press for more advice. If other people didnt have an issue at all, then it wasnt poorly explained, it was poorly recieved by morons who grew up being spoonfed and cant think for themselves (You)
and... what is wrong with not explaining something? some people like discovery, like mystery, like hidden mechanics.
you people just say something is bad, without actually explaining why its objectively bad. Ignoring it was never objective to begin with.
theres 1000s of easy games that spoonfeed, 99.9% of them do.
Let people have a challenge that respects the player to figure shit out.
faggot.
