I have no idea how I would write an incest story without making it so that the brother and sister lived apart for a long time, which ruins the appeal since at that point they're not much different than childhood friends, and their blood relationship is an extraneous addition. I can't think of any way a sibling relationship could turn romantic and remain that way unless both parties are completely messed up in the head.
