Plenty of series have turned lame and gay in the last decade or so. In fact, the majority have. But has there ever been a case of a series recovering after turning lame and gay? Is it really a death sentence or is it possible for devs to pull out of it?

Battlefield pulled it off with the disaster that was 5. But that was just mainly cause of it's trailer.
Wow is probably on the deepest end of the iceberg.
It fits right with Concord and Dustborn with wokeslop lvls right now.
Most studio's cant afford to recover from a full woke thats why they do not get second chances to fix it.
Companies that do usually have too much money or some sneaky backing going on. Blizzard is one of it's main contenders.

If you have a broad spectrum of characters you can allow a gay or a intentionally ugly abomination. But what doubled down in BFA and got overcooked hard during Shadowlands it became so drenched in troonsauce that you cant even take it serious anymore.

Coincidentaly, when I played wow after quitting forever, transexuals were never in any of my mythic / cutting edge raiding guilds, atleast I never met one. Trannies were always bad at the game and at best tried to reach 3k mythic rating, often struggling greatly. Transexuals were present in many classic wow guilds though, thinking they are "hardcore l33t players" for speedrunning molten core.
