I know but the last century has been "their side" and "their side +1"
these things come and go, it will probably get worse before it gets better, but historically this always happens.
As they get more extreme, so do the counter to them. People will suffer with online ID for a while before someone comes along and says "fuck this, fuck them, fuck them all"
history often repeats itself on this stuff.
you couldnt vote for these people back then because "theyre racist far WHRITE nazis!"
but now people are getting so fed up with it all, they dont care, the strategy of the last decade is starting to fail them, people WANT that right winger to come in and fuck it up.
as they push harder and harder to extremity, the more willing people are to vote against it.
look at reform today vs UKIP back then, or whatever.
Reform will probably half heartedly do what they are saying, but itd set the precedent, the ball rolling, people will want to win more, and they will vote for an even more extreme party when they see reform isnt going hard enough.
Then it will be our decade, a decade of "our side" and "our side +1"
digital ID, gone
OSA, gone
Ofcom, deleted
Their members, fired
Police chiefs, in prison
Judges, in prison
laws put in place to GUARANTEE it never happens again.
weather the storm, we will win.
