I also rolled back w10 updates a couple of times because apparently it saw fit that after these updates it needed 100% or near disc and ram usage in idle (well at least I didn't do anything). Opening a website taking 20+ seconds didn't feel optimal.

I didn't even want win10 but I was a pussy and felt like I couldn't game on Linux. You can game on Linux with minimal extra steps. I've spent more time optimizing Oblivion back in the day than I have making games work on Linux (oh no I enable Proton in Lutris or Steam)
