What games are even CPU bound these days? It feels like if you need to upgrade your CPU you're probably benefiting more from the motherboard upgrade including more up-to-date component options (like newer PCIe or RAM standards).

i have a 14700k and it works fine but im starting to think i dont even need all this power. i kind of want to get something that uses less power too...
