I really do not understand the massive hype behind this game AT ALL. So I bought it for myself to find out

1. Just another generic 2d platformer I've played 2348128 times
2. Opening tutorial makes you rewalk the tutorial like 3 times. For some reason they put a big hole that leads back to the intro of the game, just to make you walk all the way through the tutorial again???????????? ?? ?????
3. Randomly stuns you and slows you down and freezes the game for like 30 seconds for no reason (the reason is to make you feel weakened like your character in the story but I don't give a shit, it's literally the opposite of immersive, give me fucking control back)

Even if the game was good, and the first 20 minutes are pretty awful, I truly wouldn't get it. You guys will shit bricks if you ever find out Rogue Legacy and 10 trillion other games exactly like this exist.

Fucking finally made it to act 2.
Some tips for those still in act 1:
>ant marchs vendor has the best trinket in the game (thus far) allows you an extra hit before death basically.
>reaper crest is great, once you get wall jump do yourself a favor and get the wanderers crest, its basically hollow knights swordplay but with the fast slash on at all times
>you get damage upgrade after widow whose in the top of the belltown area
>save your memory trinkets for wanderers crest lol
>when you get the fancy music ability and walljump, THEN backtrack and find gated off areas and loot, you can get 1 hp up from doing this
>most importantly, git fucking gud, actually read boss moves, they do indicate with body language what they will do next.

Where are double jump or wall climb? I have floating and dashing
