Yeah, I moved up to 4k a few years back and it's everything I always wanted from LCDs.

Moved to dual 1440p 165hz monitors last year from 1080p and it felt like the biggest upgrade ever

It's not. It's magnificent for content creation and consumption. Both 16:9 and 4:3 stuff fits snuggly within the screens, and the video playback buttons sit nicely in the black bars instead of on top of videos.

True and real and based. Built a really beefy pc a couple of years ago and was able to play everything at 120fps for a good while, now when a game runs at 60 i get a headache looking at it.

I dont want more than 24”. Also i want more frames instead of having to go to 60fps. Though i could afford a 70 series card i just dont wanna spend that much for games that are mostly older than 2015 anyway.

1080p DLAA looks pretty close to higher resolutions. I have a 4k tv and I barely use it.

It really cleans up the image with DLSS4, before it came out modern games were insanely blurry because of TAA. The biggest thing I noticed most was visual clarity and motion clarity with the updated model. DLSS4 is also pretty good on Quality, but if you have the extra GPU headroom use DLAA, especially at 1080p.

4K worsens game performance too much. If there was a way to have reliable 4K that never goes below 60fps at a minimum I'd probably consider getting a 4k monitor. But the requirements for running 4k at anything close to acceptable frame rate are absurd, and you still don't get reliable 60fps.

Nah I upgraded my main monitor to 1440 and have 1080 secondary and the real estate as well as sharpness is still noticeable daily.

Is 165hz enough for esports? It used to be anything over 60hz was high but now even budget panels have at least 165hz
