Might want to invest in a new case, and possibly consider switching to air cooling unless you're doing intensive rendering/etc constantly or have very beefy recent hardware.

Believe me, I know the pain. I collect vintage keyboards. ALPS switch boards tend to be particularly nasty in my experience, especially when their metal mounting plates have developed rust (which is seemingly quite often).
