once you unlock mickey get him to raise the good types of fame first to lower your allure, don't bother lowering the bad fame until you max good fame. high allure just makes the game annoying later on when you're trying to grind a dozen different skills

and get your kiss/oral as soon as you can or someone might take it (usually whitney or gang rape), though you can just savescum it, once that and hand holding is done you are pretty much safe for the most part

A game is a hard coded experience. You have to explore, learn, navigate your way to being so buff no one can rape you. Irritable elements are there permanently and you have to figure out how to work with them.
An LLM is a lot more (You) driving things. Giving it a direction, managing information, keeping the pace reasonable, not making things too easy for yourself, while also being less cohesive. Much more freeform, but just requires a lot of work and self-control. Like how you won't be thrown any difficulty unless you make it clear that you're supposed to be having difficulty, and then you have to restrain yourself from doing anything that would make it easier. Like you can theoretically summon star platinum and punch everything to death if you so wanted and it will go along with it. More akin to writing really.

Robin gives you a safe space to destress but doubles your rent, Kylar will keep you safe out and about but you'll be kidnapped if you don't keep his jealousy down, such and such. They generally are pieces that cannot be ignored and must be worked around.
The further love interests are pretty much purely beneficial and otherwise isolated and ignoreable. They even fucked up Eden in the meantime so if you ever skip your weekly visit, instead of getting dragged off and raped, you just have a date in the park and he goes back to minding his own business. Up to date standalone image mods are a bit of a rarity these days. If you want choices, the only way now is to play DoL on DoLP (or the tranny version, if that's your thing for some reason). The most up to date image pack submods in it are Goose(+ Mysterious) and Aoki(+ Mysterious). For Goose, most outfits have been made to fit with its look now, though if unsure just look for the 'OK' icon on the bottom-left of the outfit to know (there are a few outfits that work with Goose but doesn't have that marking). Not sure about Aoki as that is relatively new (added to DoLP within the month). Beeesss(+ Hikari) is still okay but I'm not sure if it's been updated to include the newest stuff.

The only thing the Mysterious mod adds is an alternate combat sprite (doesn't 'support' big titty characters), while Hikari is more of an extra face portrait thing (which Goose also has of its own).

Yes, it is strongly implied that there is a cult in change of the town, sometimes you can see people performing rituals in the forest. The cult is poisoning the water supply with drugs that turn everyone into rape machines, sometimes you can see them on the sewers, you can also visit the factory in the landfill where they make the drug and get super horny if you smell the fumes. Then there are all the paranormal stuff, the ghost of the lake, all the weird shit in the dark forest, there's a huge, unknown monster that kidnaps people in the city and traps them in abandoned skyscrapers, the tentacle hellscape, all the weird shit going on in the church, but I think that's separate, etc.

I'm sure I'm missing stuff but none of those things were ever expanded upon, and the development focused solely on the dating sim shit. Personally, I was hoping for a showdown with the cult as the endgame.
