While I tend to agree that E33 is the best game released this year, that is a hot take, and I don't think it's even remotely in the same league as ER, BG3, or CP2077 for that matter.

E33 does have a great story, and some of the best music ever made for games, the actual gameplay can be quite flat at times, and the pacing can be slow. No other game released this year compares, but ER, BG3 and CP2077 are simply 10/10 masterpieces that will define gaming for the next century, no I'm not kidding.

Only final fantasy trannies and tendies seethe at E33. Everyone else loved the game.

Nah. The only thing E33 has over BG3 is it's art direction and main story. Side quest, characters, combat, roleplaying, depth, themes, replayability, dialogue, music, general writing, variety, character building, casual appeal, hardcore appeal, character design, BG3 clears. It took a genre normalfags normally cannot stand and went main stream through it's sheer quality without sacrificing any depth at all, even nearing the peak of the genre in that regard.

I just buyedthed the game yesterday, and I just got my third party member. So it's a bit early to tell, but I can understand why people have it as their goty. For me, Wuchang is still better. But who knows, by the end of the game, I might change my mind.

Not that Sandfall didn't, E33 is absolutely amazing, but I imagine we'll see the soulless game devs at least attempt games in E33's style after it inevitable takes GOTY. A project like Baldur's Gate 3 is just beyond their meager ability, you can't just throw money at it either it takes real talent and passion for the material.
