I mean, sure. Hot girls and gay guys like tomb raider. Whoopee. But the fanbase of the games and the movies has always been 90+ percent male. And I will say for the third time in this thread, given the fact that the VAST MAJORITY of the fanbase is men, the franchise will not be relevant in games or movies until they're made to appeal to males.
No more lesbian Lara. No more daddy issues. No more wallowing in depression. Lara Croft is an actual strong women who knows how to use her wiles and charm to get what she wants, and she likes going on adventures. It's not an appropriate franchise for the writers to vent about how their fathers never loved them. Tomb Raider is about cunning, mystery and excitement. It's a franchise for boys and men, but girls can enjoy it too. This should be very, very simple to understand.
