the multiplayer was surprisingly good on PC until it was ruined by cheaters after about a year.
also the best looking map and the one that had played the best in the alpha or beta (I played that shit on Xbox 360) had completely game-breaking lag every time an orbital strike hit the glass, which was everywhere on the map so basically every time somebody got a 5 (?) kill streak the whole server would come to a crawl for 10 seconds. skyline was the name of the map. and they NEVER fixed that bug. in fact they didn't even try for the sequel: in Crysis 3 the map is back. without glass because more destroyed lol. lazy hacks. Crysis 3 was ruined by the same cheaters day one by the way. again, crytek never even tried to fix it.

No, the only thing of note that I remember about the game was that Crytek messed up the multiplayer authentication system in such a way that it allowed people who pirated the game to play it with legit users with 0 restrictions kek.

It was alright I guess, the suit went from hyper advanced multi billion dollar nanosuit, to alien DNA is the suit really quick which I thought was dumb.

with invisibility and super jumps. it was more fun than regular COD. if it had the polish and advertising of a contemporary COD game it would have been unstoppable to be honest. there's a reason the COD devs themselves ended up adding more and more Crysis-like features to their games in the years after. Crysis 2 MP was a diamond in the rough.

I get if you're salty because you played the Battlefield-like Crysis 1 MP and that shit got memoryholed forever. sucks. for singleplayer I prefer Crysis 1 as well. but it is a fact that in and of itself Crysis 2 MP was actually very good and could have been great with 1-2 patches and a working anti-cheat.

God I loved that multiplayer. It felt like Battlefield with CS economy.

Crysis 2 had a tactical slide before it was cool.

no, Warhead is the singleplayer addon. and the base game already had the BF style multiplayer. "Crysis Wars" may have been an updated version of the regular C1MP that shipped with Warhead? or maybe they made it free to play? I know people later restored it, effectively making it free to play but I'm not sure if that was all legal.
