I just got around to beating the Remake of the original and I feel like I’m missing something. Everyone praises it as the gold standard for remakes but it wasn’t any amazing. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good game but I don’t see why I’d play it over the ps1 version. Also why does Rebecca act nothing like her RE0 self? The shark section is definitely a straight upgrade but the game is pretty much the same (if not easier because of defense items). I was excited about the crimson heads but they’re pretty avoidable if you plan out your path. The new rooms don’t add much, the new puzzles are new and Lisa, while a cool lore addition doesn’t really add much to the gameplay parts.
