Psp all the way. Amazing emulator, had just enough controls to be competent, had an incredible hacking scene, had multiple use other than just playing games. Looked futuristic and premium, and was pocketable.

For the time sure. But imagine playing modern games on a screen that small. The UI elements would be unreasonably small and illegible. Wanna know what I mean? Then play any modern game on your phone through Xbox Cloud gaming and you'll see what I mean.

i like the dsi xl. if it had a gba slot ot would be perfect, but gbarunner2 is an ok compromise.
crazy to think it was released 15 years ago, the design is timeless.

bought a vita on ebay, hacked it, ultimately wasn't impressed. needed a triggers case for comfortable PS4 streaming and PS1 games, the PS2 anthologies sometimes didn't run well, not a great option for emulators and homebrew. ended up filtering back over to my 3DS for a better native library and most of the same emulation and homebrew capabilities

Switch 2's massive screen is a godsend for my old eyes. Young people will do fine with 7 inches though. Anything below is a waste imo, unless we're talking retro consoles.
