The fight would be the exact same fucking thing if it did normal damage.

I'm tired of artificial difficulty by increasing the damage output. What if I die half the time who cares? Why don't make everything instakill now that you are at it?

Taking more damage means you get less leeway to make mistakes. This means you need to learn attack patterns and be able to dodge them consistently. Enemies do indeed become more challenging when you cannot afford to tank hits all the time. Adjusting damage and health are valid difficulty adjustments.

Holy fuck that was annoying.

You can even cheese it if you go to the right or constantly jump over it.

That was annoying, there was no need for all attacks to have 2 damage.
