I'm a little iffy on OP game being a roguelike. TurretGirls only lasted me a couple hours before it got boring. And in general I don't think a high punishment for losing fits ecchi games well.

It mostly makes a bad first impression because most of the moveset has to be unlocked including basic stuff like blocking and parrying. You genuinely start with just a light attack string and a heavy attack.

Nah, like with Z2 you could see glimpses of a good game deep down but the low budget and being too afraid of designing actual enemies keep them from being genuinely good games.
