which VR set would you recommend if i just want to sit in vrchat and feel like i'm actually in the virtual world?
i don't care for tracking or any fancy features.
i don't plan on playing any VR games(except HL: Alyx maybe).

if youre buying zucc: meta quest 3
if youre buying valve: index (outdated and pricy as fuck) or wait to see if the steam frame is actually a new headset

PSVR2 for the OLED screen. It has a lot of other features worth mentioning, but having used none OLED VR before it can't be understated how nice it is

quest 3 is the best bang for your buck
don't buy anything else unless you want to go for an expensive headset like beyond shit

Bigscreen Beyond 2 is best in slot, absolutely incredible OLED experience, so light you forget the headset exists and the gasket is custom moulded so it's always max comfy with a perfect fit. Only downisde is price and the hardware you need to run it, it's not a poorfag headset by any means, if you want that get a quest 3.

If you want more, BSB2(but you'll also need base stations and such, but there is a saying that VRchat is the most expensive completely free game for a good reason - you get sucked in, you'll end up blowing thousands on VR tech.)

It's a little wider I think but it's not nearly as heavy as it looks, if you haven't been in a vegetative state for years you won't have any problems wearing it for hours at a time, my legs start to get tired from standing long before my neck does.
