Easy modes (and hard modes, for that matter) suck ass. 99% of the time it's just the game but worse or stat totals inflated since they'll not redesign the game multiple times. What games should add are cheat options and dials to manipulate things directly. It's just way better as a way to customize experience.

Why won't steam let me refund it after 5 hours :( I really am not enjoying it and kinda devastated since I really liked Hollow Knight. I just don't like the 2 mask hit damage on every boss even contact damage and lack of i frame, also I feel like the run backs for bosses is obscenely tedious.

Just use a trainer, nigga. Who gives a fuck, it's a videogame. Getting to the final boss doesn't reflect any meaningful value in the real world. If anything, using cheats is better since it shows resourcefulness to overcome obstacles, which actually is a valuable trait.
