Gamers are turning on Silksong
Yesterday it was at 97% positive, today it's at 95%. A pretty massive decrease in only a single day.

And if you include global reviews it's already down to 92%.

Why does everyone hate Silksong?

If you have to spam threads about how "everyone hates it" hundreds of times a day while ignoring blatant signs of reviewbombing, it's clear "everyone" doesn't hate it. /v/eddit is so underaged it's unreal

More like Silksong is turning on gamers because everyone wants to fug the bug

On SteamDB it's sitting at 85% and it's clear now that this was the most overrated game ever.

This. It's always this. Nobody would blame them for a little rage at something hard, but to let it poison their view of something shows how immature they are. That being said, fuck those stupid fucking dogs on Sinner's Road, I fucking hate them.

>22k reviews and 95%
Old picture.
For me, it says 85% and 52k.

Gee golly maybe it's not that grim after all
(Yes, I know OP is being ironic)

I have no opinion on the game as I've never really cared for metroidvanias, but the fact that it was Overwhelmingly Positive within 20m of its release because of the Redditors cooming over this gay bug game makes any threads discussing its rating, positive or otherwise, utterly worthless

I didn't play, nor will I play Silksong, but my assumption from the footage I've seen is that the first Hollow Knight's claim to fame was that it was simple and competent. It did only what a metroidvania is supposed to do and nothing more than that.
Silksong, meanwhile, kept getting more and more bells and whistles hung on it, thus increasing the complexity of the game, thus exposing the fact that Team Cherry aren't some kind of game design geniuses, and the only reason the first Hollow Knight was a success was because it was too simple and conventional for Team Cherry to fuck it up.
First HK already had boring vast maps, already had stupid dead end hunting, already had shitty unbalanced pins, and many other things, but the scope of the game wasn't enough for those flaws to shine. Well, now Silksong is big enough to fit as much rancid shit in it as a game can.
