Is that, pray, why they self destructed in two massive global conflicts?
The west has no capacity to control, redirect, or subjugate violence. What they have is simply a endless capacity for violence and cruelty. They respond to violence by inflicting more violence, they solve conflict by creating more conflict. The nature of the western man is violent, bereft of any pretenses of morality. That was the case during their days as pagan savages murdering each and raping each other in drug fueled crazes and sacrificing innocent children to bogs, it was true when gangs of mercenaries massacred the population of Germany like a horde of locust during the thirty year war, and it was true during both world wars.
That works, to be sure, at least in the short term. The constant violent nature of western civilization allowed them to develop. They sacrificed stability and peace for violence and competition. Still, it already started collapsing around the rennesaince and it was only the adoption of banking systems and the sheer luck of discovering the America's that allowed them to not be wiped out by rivals north and east. At the same time the instability created by those developments largely ensured European society was doomed to destroy itself, which it eventually did during both world wars.
To put it simply: The west has no civilization. All they can do is violence. When that fails, they respond with more violence. This continued, time and time again, Until it eventually imploded and cost them everything. Now they are a decaying world order, largely kept afloat by American money. Once that runs out their time is finished, and nothing of their so called civilization will be left. Even now, with the money already in place, most of it is literally collapsing. Just look at symbols of power like Notre dame going up in flames.
