I find it hilarious the first game's protagonist was a silent normal guy and then for the sequel they decided to make the protag a walking "woman moment".

the week after "omg its dead already why is no one talking about this?" despite there being 5 threads at minimum

it caused a splash big enough to catch new people for the rest of the year, so probably goty awards show will be when we can "finally get past it" for a while before dlc speculation.

tldr about another week or two for the release hype to die off, then the rest of the year to shake off the post release jitters while the obsessives try to cling to the feeling of the buzz by consuming as my peripheral fan content as possible.
