Women and homos wanna fuck him because of the eyes. I think he's cool because of the flesh and machinery look. Its not the same a cyborg, which has a clear delineation between the two components and is mechanically sound. He's just the two things smashed together in a way that by all rights shouldn't work, but does.

Because he actually looks like an old, damp, moldy, rotting animatronic that just so happens to have a literal corpse stuck inside it. The withered bots from 2 were cool, but Springtrap is what ACTUAL animatronic suit deterioration looked like with an impressively gory twist considering that, at the time, the darkest the series ever got with its primary 3D renders was Mike's eyeballs popping out of a Freddy suit on the game over screen in 1.

The concept of a rotten soul in a rotting corpse in a rotten animatronic suit is great in and on itself, but the design was pretty great too. The eyes and mouth in particular draw the attention and are very eerie.

FNaF's 3 design looks good, but Scraptrap's is just horrendous. Big disproportioned head, lil' stump for an arm, and the skeleton inside just looks strange.

I know this is a gay thread but he's a legitimately cool monster design. The idea of a mulched human controlling a decaying animatronic is awesome and it's executed very well. I figure Springtrap is about as scary as you can realistically push a FNAF design before they start to look ridiculous like the ones in 4.
