What year it is, 2015?
What is even the point of caring about it? Technical innovation? There are no technical innovations out there. Story? The writer of half life was thrown out of Valve for demanding Gaben to make games, and released drafts for a story that he had, there won't be anything more, if half life 3 will ever be made, it will be a fanfic written by a different person. You can just write a fanfic yourself at this point and it will be about as valuable.
