You have 5 HP but it might as well be 3 because every relevant boss, enemy, and hazard deals 2 HP.

You don't get a health upgrade until like 10 hours in and even then it's near worthless as you go from dying in 3 hits to.... dying in 3 hits.

Also the i-frames are near non-existent so a big enemy spazzing around on top of you can 100 to 0 you in like half a second.

The fact that there isn't a SINGLE enemy in the game that doesn't deal contact damage just shows the fucking absurdity of it all.

It's just the most bullshit difficulty where it always feels like the deck is stacked against you and the game just wants to make you suffer at all costs.

Vast majority of hard games feel like a harsh mentor who wants what's best for you. Silksong doesn't feel like that at all.

Fuck this game.

At the end of hollow night she tells us to get gud, that was 10 years ago you had plenty of time anon. Should have have practiced for the game and done the entirety of Godhome before release as a warmup.

Bananza actually does get difficult at the end, it's just the first few layers were literal baby mode.

It's crazy how hostile the level design is in this game compared to the first game. That fucking trap bench is just evil.

I'm not finding it too difficult and it's fun. I just suck at the bouncy red balls you gotta ground attack. I don't like how you gotta use all your silk to heal either.
