im tempted to get a superlight 2 but apparently they have scratchy skates.

FUCK

>220 mouse + tax then have to instantly buy new skates or dots + $30

or I could just get a viper V3 which is similar shape with a bit less palm contact.

I love my OP1 but its too small for a regular mouse and because my hand size I kind of finger tip grip it and its too big for that too so I cant really pick a grip that feels comfortable.

either I need to get the extreme biggest mouse or the extreme other end like a true finger tip.

it's just the next form of planned obsolescence. people are too pissed about the double clicking after 6 months, it's cutting into business, so they came up with a new scheme to ruin your mouse within about a year.

>no amount of cleaning fixes it
>get another speed holes mouse, this one even lighter (55g)
>love it
>but the seed has been placed, DO I need an even lighter mouse?
>DO I need 8k polling?
>DO I want to deal with wireless (y'know, charging)?
>DO I want to pay the asking price for super light wireless 8k mice?
I'm telling myself no since mouse sensors have been perfect for years by this point and polling above 1k only matters for real high framerates and people who play a single game at an esport level to notice but still, I feel the autism calling to me.

I find the G502 hero ends up feeling the best if you like the extra weight.

The G502X feels fine, wireless works ok, comes with a pretty long usb3 cable should you want a wired mouse anyway, but its very light.

Why would they fix an issue they caused on purpose? Anyway, mice have moved on now. Now you get optical switches that don't break, and a mechanical wheel encoder that does break, so you still need a new mouse after a year or two.

The latest models are using optical switches so yeah, I imagine the double clicks are fixed on those. I do not have one myself since I am still using a G502 from 2016 (and it doesn't double click, though lately the scroll wheel clicks no longer seem to be 100% reliable).

I just got this G703 clone because I'm sick of tiny mice and I wanted a nice fat assed ergo shape that fills out my palm. And it's been pretty nice. A full-sized mouse with a right-hand shape nowadays still comes in at around 50g, and still ticks all of the meme boxes for sensors, switches, and features. Consider just getting a big ass mouse.
Now if only someone would make something with the shape of the old Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (Wireless).

I use one at work. It's fine. But I don't think it makes that big of a difference. Wouldn't use any of those for gaming though. It forces you to move the mouse with your arm rather than your wrists, because angling your wrists up and down is less comfortable. But sometimes wrist control is what you need for fine-grained aiming.

To be fair for gaymen your main pivot point should be your elbow with your wrist only making small adjustments.

The double clicking is intentional; it gets you to buy a new mouse every 2-3 years thus potentially giving them more frequent recurring revenue.

Recently tried out a Logitech G309 and Razer Cobra Pro and kept the Logitech despite being the less premium mouse. Just fills out my hand and fingertip grip perfectly(Cobra was too thin/concave), main buttons are easier to press from both ends(both in force required and ease of reach), and it can be made lighter than the Razer. I did prefer some things from the Cobra though, like the textured rubber grip that's on the sides, having a built in battery rather than having to deal with a separate AA battery, the extra button, and the scroll wheel was just a straight upgrade with how grippy, tactile-scrolling and easy to click it was
