Gacha games
One of the biggest problems for gacha to me is the fact there really isn't that much online interactions between players. I think it is a big missed potential for both gameplay/social aspect, but also monetary way. Something like Team Fortress 2 lets you show off your cool hats and weapons with their strange kill counts etc.
Same with something like Fortnite or LoL, having a cool skin helps you express yourself(even if not as much as TF2 ), so it's more fun and like billion times better marketing.
In gacha if you get a rare pull all you can do is really post on social media sites or to your friends on other platforms instead of showing off your waifu in-game proper.
I'm not 100% sure how proper social aspects would be implemented but I would happily go back to grinding ZZZ if I knew I could shill my Rina Onee-chan to my friends and other people in general. Now it feels like all gacha has is coom(I hate this word but honestly "sex appeal" is way too tame expression for what gacha does) aspect, like in webm related, and that's kinda it.
