Sega perfected the dpad over 30 years ago and yet controller manufacturers still insist on copying the Niggertendo dpad. Xbox tried for a while but they sucked wet liquid ass at it so they eventually switched to a Niggertendo-style dpad. Even Sega betrayed their loyal fans by using a Niggertendo dpad on their Dreamcast controller. This is scientifically the best dpad and it's literally impossible to play shoot em ups or fighting games on any other dpad. If you say you do you are lying.

The PC Engine's controllers also have great dpads. The things are basically just better versions of NES/Famicom controllers.

I hate when DPADS easily register diagonal input if you slightly press a X-Y direction but tilted a bit.

You would think so, but I find them very comfortable.
The one I have has them down there for a reason, at least.
