I tried the first game’s remake, but it really wasn’t my cup of tea. But I absolutely love Mr. Driller. I actually got into that series prior to Klonoa.
And yes, I am aware that Klonoa and Mr. Driller were created by the same person.
Maybe I love both because they have easy to learn gameplay, simple controls, and lovable characters.
I should probably give Katamari another chance, I think that it’s the time limit that stresses me out.

Thanks for the tip! I think that was one of my issues, besides having a hard time adjusting to the controls.
I actually have both of the Katamari remakes as I bought the We Love remake on sale. Probably won’t be able to play the two games for a while as I got around 7 games I plan on playing through.

I just played through Lunatea's Veil for the first time, and the levels are a lot longer than the first game's. There's a bit more of a puzzle focus I'd say this time around, and the platforming gets tough towards in the later levels just like in the first game. The board-riding levels are a really fun change of pace too. On the other hand, there's some strange padding despite the game's short length with a small handful of levels that are weird reskins of earlier levels with minimal changes. I don't think they're enough to drag down the game that much though. Storywise, it's pretty nice. I liked it more than the first game.
