i had heard a few vague spoilers for the game before but nothing could have prepared me to experiencing it first hand, i reloaded my save for Kate because i fucked up at the last second and i knew it, wheelchair Chloe was a brutal punch to my fucking throat that left me in shock until the next episode and i did NOT expect pedo Jefferson, David did absolutely nothing wrong and im so glad i helped him everytime i could
i ended up sacrificing Arcadia Bay... i will miss Warren, he was a real one

Life is Strange 1 got tons of attention early on after a lot of big YouTubers made cringle compilations out of the first episode. Masses of people then jumped in expecting more cringe but the game had just the right level of earnestness in the writing and cozy atmosphere that many got enjoyment out of it unironically. Lightning in a bottle is the perfect way to describe it. Totally impossible to replicate these circumstances organically.

It depends, what parts did you like about Before The Storm? A big aspect of the first half of the game is getting to know the characters, hanging out, building relationships with them and taking everything in. Second half is rushed, kind of like how Chapter 3 in BTS was. Soundtrack is on par imo if you care about that. Your choices matter in this one a la Life is Strange 2.
