Tauros is only the strongest mon of gen 1 if you ignore Mewtwo. Snorlax taking a nap is the unquestioned best, strongest Pokemon of gen 2 even in ubers and it's based as hell.

i was confused why ash had tauros in his team
i thought i missed an episode or maybe that he was catching pokemon off screen but it turns out he caught them in a banned episode because one of the characters pointed a shotgun at ash
