I dont fucking see it, accomplishing beating bosses gives you no feeling of satisfaction in this, there's no reward given except grinding for more fucking beads
then you are treated to the platforming, every enemy deals 2x damage, every jump you try to make an enemy pops out of no where to fuck you up, then takes 5 hits to kill, artificial difficulty in this is insane
its just difficult for difficulties sake

I have to be missing something because I found this nigger by accident (admittedly after getting the dash and the floating dress) and I got him on my 3rd try once I finally managed to make him smash the adds.

Op here, I posted this thread after my second attempt, I then went to take a very long shit, then came bake and beat it after 4 more tries. Honestly, it wasn't that bad, you fags overhyped the difficulty.

I only used Wanderer crest (Hollow Knight mode) as soon as I got it. I hate Hornet's default downward attack. I hate Reaper's alternating up/down attack and the up slash fucking sucks. I hate Beast because of that down attack and the running attack (whenever I tried it) just results in you getting hurt.

Wanderer just works.

All you have to do is learn to bait all three of his downward slams into the adds. He stops slamming if you move too far away.
But yeah this early game boss is easily harder than anything in the first half of Hollow Knight.

I stop playing when i reached the weird bell dog thing, its not fun and too hard.
